Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's return to Britain is said to be pushing their marriage to the breaking point, with mounting financial pressures, family tensions, and increasingly separate lives threatening the future they hoped to build together, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

Nearly two months after relocating from California to the Cotswolds, Harry, 42, and Markle, 45, are feared to be struggling with the demands of establishing themselves in Britain.

UK Return Allegedly Puts Sussexes' Marriage Under Pressure

Prince Harry and Markle face strain after moving to Britain, sources claim.

Harry's efforts to rebuild his professional standing and repair relations with King Charles III, 77, are said to have left Markle managing the upbringing of their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, while overseeing her lifestyle business, As Ever.

A source familiar with the couple's situation claimed their conflicting priorities were creating considerable strain.

The insider claimed, "Harry and Meghan are discovering that wanting to build a new chapter together and actually making that chapter work are two very different things. There was a great deal of optimism when they first discussed returning to Britain, particularly on Harry's side.

"He genuinely believed they could establish something financially rewarding, reconnect with parts of his old life and give their children a sense of belonging in the country where he grew up. But the practical reality has been considerably more complicated, and that is beginning to expose some fundamental differences between them and is pushing their marriage to the limit.

"Harry was very much the driving force behind the relocation, so naturally he feels an enormous responsibility to justify it. He knows Meghan gave up a lifestyle in California that she had worked extremely hard to establish, and he doesn't underestimate what she sacrificed by agreeing to leave.

"The difficulty is that he's become so preoccupied with demonstrating that they made the right decision that he's struggling to enjoy the life they actually moved here to create. Every potential business arrangement, public appearance, and professional introduction seems to carry enormous significance because he feels he cannot afford to let anything slip through his fingers."

The insider claimed, "There's also the question of what Harry expected from returning to Britain emotionally. He may have understood intellectually that his relationship with the royal family would remain complicated, but living in the same country and still encountering those barriers is an entirely different experience.

"He's having to confront the possibility that coming home doesn't necessarily mean being welcomed back into the fold. That disappointment inevitably follows him into his private life, and Meghan is having to deal with the consequences of that frustration alongside everything else."

"What's particularly difficult is that Harry and Meghan seem to have developed almost completely different daily routines," the source continued. "He's concentrating on establishing connections, attending engagements and identifying opportunities that might generate income or strengthen their public profile.

"Meghan is much more focused on creating stability for Archie and Lilibet, keeping their household organized and ensuring her own business interests don't suffer because of the move. Both are working extremely hard, but they're increasingly doing so in separate worlds."

Meghan Markle Balances Parenting With Business Ambitions

Markle has focused on their children and her As Ever business.

The source claimed: "Meghan has absolutely no intention of becoming somebody who simply waits at home while her husband pursues his ambitions. She has her own professional identity, commercial responsibilities, and expectations about what their future should look like.

"Equally, she recognizes that their children need consistency during what has already been a significant upheaval. That leaves her trying to fulfill several demanding roles simultaneously, without necessarily having the personal support system she enjoyed in California.

"The really worrying aspect is how little opportunity they appear to have to reconnect as husband and wife. Their conversations are increasingly dominated by practical matters – schedules, business decisions, school arrangements, travel commitments and the continuing difficulties surrounding Harry's family."

They continued, "There's very little room for spontaneity or simply enjoying one another's company. It's possible to live under the same roof and still feel emotionally distant when virtually every waking hour is accounted for.

"This isn't necessarily about some dramatic confrontation or a single disagreement that threatens to destroy everything. It's much more complicated than that. Small frustrations can become disproportionately significant when two people are exhausted and feel that their individual sacrifices aren't being fully recognized.

"Harry may believe he's doing everything possible to secure their future, while Meghan may feel she's carrying much of the responsibility for keeping their family grounded. Neither perspective automatically cancels out the other, but those competing pressures can create resentment if they aren't addressed."

Conflicting Priorities Could Widen Emotional Distance

The couple have struggled to find time together after their relocation, insiders claim.

"One of the things that has always defined Harry and Meghan publicly is their determination to face adversity together," the source claimed. They built much of their new life around the idea that they were a team, prepared to make difficult decisions in pursuit of something better for themselves and their children.

"The irony now is that a move intended to strengthen their family's future may be leaving them with less time for each other than they had before.

"There's a real concern that Harry is becoming so consumed by the need to prove this relocation was worthwhile that he's overlooking the emotional price they're paying in the meantime. Meghan, for her part, needs to feel that her happiness and ambitions are being given equal consideration, rather than being treated as secondary to his desire to reestablish himself in Britain."

The tipster explained, "The central question is whether they can find a way to make their new circumstances work for both of them, rather than simply expecting one another to keep making compromises. Neither wants to acknowledge that such a major decision might have been misguided, particularly after everything involved in getting here.

"But determination alone doesn't resolve the pressures of a marriage, and unless they can create some genuine breathing space, the strain could become increasingly difficult to ignore."

Prince Harry traveled while Markle stayed at their Cotswolds home.

Harry's demanding schedule has included engagements in Britain alongside trips to New York and Canada, while Markle has reportedly remained largely at their Cotswolds residence.

Their return has also failed to produce the anticipated rapprochement with the royal family.

King Charles has reportedly not met the couple since their July visit to Highgrove, while Prince William, 44, is understood to remain estranged from his younger brother.

Palace correspondence has reiterated that Harry and Markle are no longer working royals, reinforcing the distinction between their private activities and official royal duties.
